India

Bangalore - typically bustling with all kinds of stuff going on right where it needs to happen.  Lots of smiles too.
Mostly the streets are very congested, but now and then you break into an open space, and get going.  I leaned the camera out of the tuk-tuk we were ripping along in, and took this groovy pic of the road flying by.
Traveling a lot for work is grim.  When you get to go to places like India, it becomes so much better, because they are so awesome.  When you have colleagues like Vidhu Shekhar, above, at IM Bangalore, it is actually a pleasure; super-interesting, supportive, kind and smart human being - with an absoutely fabulous warm wonderful family.  And super-maths-bright like you :-)
But the best feeling is coming home late in the night and waking up with little people climbing into your bed, and feeling the love that fills this little house.

Cricket - winning the Semis

Aiden's team played in the semis - and they won - and I think had a blast.  This is Imran, the amazing man who organizes and coaches his team.  He's a great cricketer - but something of a genius with young people - absolute freedom within boundaries, ferocious motivation and an instilling of pride in how they go about it.  I've seen a lot of teachers in my life - a lot; he is somewhere right at the top of the best of them. Love the passion he has; love the fact that they get it, and soak it up.

Beach day between trips

This was one of those PERFECT days that have escaped summer somewhere, and visited in the middle of winter, and has done so on a Sunday.
